How do you access SSMS?

If you have worked for the VCAA before then you can access your SSMS user account via your dedicated username and password known only to you.

If you have not worked for the VCAA before then you can register for a username and password OR lodge an application through the new applicant process - a username and password will then be emailed to you shortly after.

What does SSMS do?

For those with SSMS user accounts, the site provides increased access to information about the range of VCAA sessional staff employment opportunities. This includes information related to training dates and payments.

Future developments will allow the website to be a one-stop shop facility, and offer tracking of the progress of applications and access through downloads or as pages to information such as information packs and manuals and more.

Some important notes

Being a website means that SSMS changes constantly during the year sometimes from day to day, week to week; and it is therefore advised that you consider bookmarking and making SSMS a “favourite”.

SSMS is reliant on the use of email to facilitate communication, so you need to ensure that your main contact details are kept up to date on the site at all times of the year.

It is important to understand that the advertising and publishing of positions/jobs/opportunities will be date/time-stamped to appear automatically on SSMS and also to close down; therefore late applications are generally not taken.
