VCE Adjusted Study Designs for 2020 Only – Studio Arts
Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and teachers of VCE Studio Arts
Further corrections have been made to the VCE Studio Arts Adjusted Study Designs for 2020 to fix inconsistencies and errors in the original adjusted version (published 1 May 2020).
The Key Knowledge and Key Skills for Studio Arts Unit 4, Area of Study 1 on p. 25 have been amended. In Outcome 1, Unit 4, students must demonstrate the use of at least two potential directions in the development of artwork(s).
The amended
Studio Arts: Administrative Advice for School-based Assessment 2020 remains unchanged. Students must select at least two potential directions from Unit 3 to produce their artwork(s) in Unit 4. Please note the requirements for assessment of potential directions on pp. 5 and 14.

Teachers of the VCE Studio Arts need to ensure they access and download the most recent updated version (published 5 June 2020) from the
VCE Studio Arts webpage.
Action required
Principals/Directors should ensure that VCE teachers of Studio Arts are made aware of these corrections and implement them immediately.
