Plain English Speaking Award 2020 semifinalists
Principals/Directors, VCE and Years 7–10 English teachers and VCE debating coordinators
The state heats of the 2020 Plain English Speaking Award (PESA) are now complete after a successful and fierce competition.
Adapting to changing times, 11 state heats were held from 18 May to 1 June. Over 100 students across Victoria participated in the online competition, sharing their passions and ideas to an audience of experienced adjudicators and past champions.

PESA supports student learning and assessment in VCE English/English as an Additional Language, VCAL Literacy (Oral Communication), VCAL Personal Development Skills and the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
