Foundation – 10 Curriculum

The Victorian Curriculum F–10 is the curriculum for Victorian schools. It incorporates the Australian Curriculum and reflects Victorian standards and priorities. The curriculum is accessed from the Victorian Curriculum F–10 website, whilst resources and supporting information is available here.

The Revised Curriculum Planning and Reporting Guidelines (pdf - 1,010.58kb) provide advice for Victorian schools on the effective use of the curriculum to develop whole-school teaching and learning plans and to report student learning achievement.

A range of resources have been developed to support the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum including information regarding curriculum planning and assessment, curriculum area-specific advice, and professional learning opportunities.

In addition to resources on this website and the Victorian Curriculum F–10 website, the VCAA also provides the Curriculum Planning Resource portal, designed to support school leaders to plan and document a comprehensive whole-school curriculum.

Navigating the curriculum website

To assist educators to effectively use the Victorian Curriculum F–10 website, the VCAA has developed a series of instructional videos that shows users how to view, filter, navigate and print using the website’s various functions. The videos also include an overview and tour of the website.

New: Victorian Curriculum F–10 Quick-print version

School leaders and teachers can download a quick-print version of the Victorian Curriculum F–10. The quick-print version provides a useful reference comprised of the mandatory content descriptions and achievement standards outlined in the Victorian Curriculum F–10.

For all other materials, including the introduction materials, including the rationale and aims, structural information, 'learning in' section and glossary, as well as advisory materials such as the elaborations, are available from the Victorian Curriculum F–10 website.

Note that only one Language Curriculum (French) has been included in the quick-print version as a representative example.

Student Reporting in government schools

For inquiries related to reporting student achievement against the Victorian Curriculum F–10 Achievement Standards, government schools are advised to contact the Department of Education and Training through the Student Reports mailbox at

Bushfire Education

The Bushfire Education website provides teaching and learning resources to support bushfire education in early childhood settings, primary schools and secondary schools. Developed by the Victorian government in response to the findings of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission, the Bushfire Education website provides teaching and learning resources that have been aligned to either the relevant Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) outcomes or the Victorian Curriculum F–10.
