Retention of VCE examination papers
Principals/Directors and VCE coordinators
Schools can retain copies of the VCE exam question books, post-sitting.
The VCAA reminds schools that they are entitled, and encouraged, to retain copies of the VCE examination question books following the sitting of an exam. Schools may retain the exam books, including inserts, in their school resource collections or libraries, and may copy and use these in reliance on the flexible educational allowance the VCAA makes specifically for schools.
For further information, please read the VCAA copyright policy.
VCE examination materials left behind by students must be retained in the school’s secure room, until after students have received their results. These examination materials must not be used for school resource collections or libraries.
