VASS is open for 2024 VET student enrolments.
This year, there are changes to Structured Workplace Learning Recognition (SWLR).
2024 VET student enrolments
Schools are reminded to run eligibility reports for students once any VET enrolments are added to a student’s program.
Schools should only enrol students in the Units of Competence (UoC) the student is expected to satisfy in the current academic year – it is not advisable to enrol students in multiple years of their VET program.
Structured Workplace Learning Recognition (SWLR)
Students cannot be enrolled in SWL until they are first approved by the VCAA.
Schools are required to fill in an
online application form for each student undertaking SWLR and must ensure students are enrolled in their corresponding VET certificate prior to submitting an application form.
