Naming convention for the VCE Vocational Major

Principals/Directors and VCE VM coordinators

When referring to the VCE Vocational Major, please ensure the correct naming coventions are used. This can be the full certificate name ‘VCE Vocational Major’ or where appropriate, shortened to ‘VCE VM’. There is no hyphen. This is the official accreditation of the certificate stated by the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA).

The VCE VM is part of the VCE and acknowledges the achievements of applied learning students. It’s important to always include the reference to VCE in the name when referencing the VCE VM.

Using the correct naming convention ensures we can build a strong reputation for this certificate and the benefits of the students engaged in it.

Principals/Directors should note the correct use of VCE Vocational Major (or VCE VM) in communications.
