Previously known as the Levels A to D (Towards Foundation) curriculum, Foundation Levels A to D are designed for learners with intellectual and cognitive disabilities and learning delay.
The Foundation Levels A to D form a developmentally sequenced continuum of learning based on contemporary research that provides clear through lines from Foundation Level A to Foundation and beyond to Level 10.
Achievement standards and content descriptions have been refined and clarified, and position students as active learners. Elaborations provide examples of greater diversity and representation of learners.
