Bushfire Education

Developed by the Victorian Government in response to the findings of the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission, these Bushfire Education webpages provide teaching and learning resources to support bushfire education in primary schools and secondary schools. The teaching and learning resources are grouped under four themes: learning about, preparing for, responding to, and recovering from bushfires. All teaching and learning activities have been aligned to the relevant areas of the Victorian Curriculum F–10. Read more about the Bushfire Education resource.

For further information and support on implementing Bushfire Education into the Victorian Curriculum, please contact the VCAA Victorian Curriculum F–10 Unit.
