VCE Politics

VCE Politics study design has a staged implementation, with Units 1 and 2 being implemented in 2024 and Units 3 and 4 being implemented in 2025.

For 2024 please ensure you use the correct study design as listed below.

Units 1 and 2

Accreditation period for Units 1 and 2: 2024-2028

Study Design for Units 1 and 2 in 2024

The accreditation period for Units 1 and 2 expires 31 December 2028.

The accreditation period for Units 3 and 4 commences 1 January 2025 and expires 31 December 2028. Please use the VCE Australian and Global Politics Units 3 and 4: 2018-2024 study design in 2024.

Units 3 and 4

Accreditation period for Units 3 and 4: 2018-2024

In 2024, schools must ensure they use the VCE Australian and Global Politics Study Design Units 3 and 4: 2018-2024.

In collaboration with the VCAA, SEV will be delivering professional learning workshops designed to support teachers in their implementation of the reaccredited VCE Politics study design 2024-2028 across both Units 1 and 2 (from this year) and Units 3 and 4(from January 2025). Please register.
