VCE History Conference and Examination Reports
The History Teachers’ Association of Victoria (HTAV) is holding the VCE History Conference and Examination Reports online session
on Friday 25 February.
This conference supports VCE teachers to expand their content knowledge, pick up classroom ready tips and resources, think
deeply about VCE teaching and learning, and catch up with peers and mentors from all over Victoria.

Australian Institute of Disaster Resilience
Enter the naming competition
Calling students in Years 5 to 8 from regional and rural areas to submit entries to name the National Large Air Tanker.
The winning class will:
- have their nominated name displayed on the National Large Air Tanker and will be invited to contribute to the design of the
aircraft’s livery
- receive a visit from the Minister for Emergency Management and National Recovery and Resilience, Senator the Hon. Bridget
McKenzie, to celebrate the success
- be featured in the Australian Journal of Emergency Management.

Nominate your school for the Resilient Australia Awards
The Resilient Australia Awards celebrate and promote initiatives that build whole of community resilience to disasters and emergencies
around Australia, as well as images capturing resilience in action. The awards recognise collaboration and innovative thinking.
