Applications for VCE State Reviewer positions
We are seeking applications from teachers for the role of VCE State Reviewer for VCE studies commencing 1 January 2023.
VCE State Reviewers are paid positions and required to undertake a range of activities, including participating in the delivery of VCAA professional learning programs, providing feedback and advice to schools, assisting in the preparation of published advice, and supporting the work of the VCAA in auditing school-assessed coursework and school-assessed tasks. It is desirable that VCE State Reviewers are currently teaching or have recently taught the relevant study at Units 3 and 4 levels.
VCE State Reviewers are appointed for two years commencing 1 January in the year of appointment and concluding 31 December the following year.

2022 Written examination instructions and other materials
Information and materials to assist students preparing to sit the 2022 end-of-year VCE written examinations is now available. Materials include sample front covers, relevant instructions, multiple-choice answer sheets, data books, formula sheets and covers of answer books for relevant examinations. A summary of examinations with new examination specifications and changed examination formats for 2022 has also been provided.
Teachers should make sure that students are aware of approved materials, examination formats and instructions, and understand how to complete multiple-choice answer sheets and answer books. Students should practise these procedures before to their examinations.

Senior Secondary Certificate Reform
New resources
Advice is now available about how schools can integrate applied learning programs into existing Year 10 programs in the F–10 curriculum. The advice includes access for Year 10 students to VCE Vocational Major (VM) units, Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) units, and VET units. The advice also includes examples of how schools have structured programs to deliver this to a range of students.

VPC suitability guidelines have also been amended to provide clear advice about access to the VPC for pre-senior secondary students.
Professional learning in Term 4
We are delivering a range of professional learning to support 2023 VCE VM and VPC implementation, including face-to-face workshops, webinars and on-demand courses.
