In Victoria, we have the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) as our school qualification. In the VCE, you can take knowledge-based pathways that normally leads to an ATAR, or you can take a skill-based pathway through the VCE Vocational Major (VM).
If you are not ready or able to take on the VCE, the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) might be right for you. The VPC offers a flexible curriculum and excellent support so that you can move into employment or continue study and training.
Many students enrich their studies with Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs or school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
