Notice to Schools 47/2022 – 6 April 2022
General Achievement Test (GAT) Centres – 2022
Principals/directors, VCE and VCAL Coordinators and VASS Administrators
Schools or providers with students enrolled in Senior VCAL or one or more VCE or scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequences must meet the VCAA requirements for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments, including the General Achievement Test (GAT), as outlined in Notice 32/2022 – 2022 Principal’s agreement to conduct and administer VCE external assessments.
The 2022 General Achievement Test (GAT) Centres document outlines requirements for establishing centres for the 2022 GAT.

Principals/directors, please
- Read the 2022 GAT Centres document
- Complete the 2022 General Achievement Test (GAT) Centres form and, if required, the Approval to Transfer the General Achievement Test (GAT) form
- Return the completed forms by Thursday 12 May

Thursday 12 May – last day to submit forms

Information sessions will be held in Term 2 to support VCAL providers who will be administering the GAT for the first time this year.
