Supervisor Training: Conduct and administration of the 2026 VCE External Assessments

Principals/Directors, VCE Coordinators and Examination Centre Coordinators

Training registrations for the conduct and administration of the 2026 VCE external assessments, including the General Achievement Test (GAT) are now open.

You only need to register for one session in the morning or afternoon.
Please visit the Events page to register, and refer to ‘Critical dates’ for the list of sessions available.

About the Supervisors training

This training is mandatory for newly appointed Chief Supervisors and school personnel responsible for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments.

New school staff must attend training even if their school has a continuing and experienced Chief Supervisor. The session runs for approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.

The VCAA highly recommends that Principals consider sending Assistant Supervisors to a training session, particularly if they are the main support for your Chief Supervisor and to assist your school with succession and contingency planning.
