Training for the conduct and administration of 2024 VCE external assessments
Principals/Directors, VCE coordinators and examination centre coordinators
Registrations are open to attend training for the conduct and administration of the 2024 VCE external assessments, including the General Achievement Test (GAT).
This training is mandatory for newly appointed chief supervisors and newly appointed school personnel responsible for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments. New school staff must attend training even if their school has a continuing and experienced chief supervisor.
The VCAA recommends that principals consider sending an assistant supervisor to a training session, particularly if they are the main support to a chief supervisor. This will assist schools with succession and contingency planning.
See training dates and registration details.
Mandatory briefing sessions for all chief supervisors and relevant school personnel, both new and experienced, will be run later in the year. The briefing sessions will focus on changes to VCE external assessment administration procedures made in response to the Independent Review into the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority’s Examination-Setting Policies, Processes and Procedures for the VCE.
More details about these sessions will be provided during Term 3.
