Chief Assessor External Assessment Professional Learning Pilot Project 2024 – Environmental Science

This video provides feedback on student performance in the 2024 Environmental Science examination. It complements the external assessment report by discussing areas of strength and weakness, using sample student responses. The criteria for assessing higher-mark questions are also highlighted, along with strategies for effectively tackling complex questions and enhancing exam technique.

As this presentation is part of a pilot project the VCAA would appreciate any feedback (via the QR code at the end of the presentation) on the effectiveness of this presentation in communicating this material in an equitable and accessible way.
