Wolfram Resource Packages

These resource packages use Wolfram Mathematica®. The Department of Education and Training (DET) has obtained Wolfram Mathematica® software licenses for all staff and students at Government, Catholic and Independent schools in Victoria.

Modelling Contagious Diseases – this resource package investigates the spread of disease, the effectiveness of vaccines and herd immunity. Specifically designed for VCE Biology Unit 3, Outcome 2 it can also be adapted for Level 9-10 Science.

Consultation

Consultation is now closed.

The VCE Biology review panel will consider all responses to the consultation draft before a final draft of the study design is prepared.

The final draft of the study design will be considered by the Board of the VCAA in December 2019. Updates on the progress of the review are published in the VCAA Bulletin regularly.
