The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is a statutory authority continued under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).
We collect your personal information in order to register you for our training or event, to facilitate the event and to contact you about the training or event. We may use your personal information to distribute content to you following the training or event, to collect feedback, or to contact you about future training or events. Your name, role/position and organisation may be provided to the presenter/s of the event to assist them to prepare for the event.
We will not disclose your personal information without your consent, except where required or permitted to do so by law.
If you do not provide the requested information, you may not be able to register, receive material or attend and participate in the Online Event. Contact us using the details in the training or event invitation about your options.
If you have been asked to register someone else to attend a VCAA online event, to complete a form on behalf of someone else, or to provide information about someone else, please give them the link to this collection notice.

Registration and Surveys
We may collect your personal information via Qualtrics to facilitate the training or event, for example for registration or to obtain responses to evaluation and audit questionnaires and surveys. This may include your name, school or other organisation, email address and other contact details.
Collection by Qualtrics
The personal information you provide will be collected by Qualtrics on our behalf. The

VCAA Online Events
We collect your personal information via Cisco Webex to facilitate the training or event. This may include your name, email address and profile photo, and any personal information you share via Webex during the meeting or event, such as your voice and/or image, and questions and comments you submit via the chat panel. The host and other participants will see the chat panel during the event.
If this VCAA Online Event is being recorded:
If you do not wish your face to appear in the recording, please turn off your camera before the event starts.
The ‘chat panel’ may be used in the event to take questions during the Online Event and may appear in the recording. Please consider whether you wish to be identified before participating in this way.
We may provide a recording of the event to participants. We may publish the recording, or permit a third party to publish the recording.
Collection by Cisco when using Webex
The personal information you provide will be collected by Cisco Webex on our behalf. When you attend the event, you will be asked to log in by providing your first name, surname, email and password.

Collection using VidVersity online learning platform
The personal information you provide to register and complete training for the introduction of the revised Senior Secondary Certificate will be collected by VidVersity on our behalf. When you click on a training course link on the VCAA website, you will be asked to provide your name, email, organisation, sector and role title.
Course training material and completion data is stored by VidVersity and accessible to the VCAA. The

Provision and collection of materials
We may use Kiteworks by Accellion for secure provision and collection of materials before and after training and events. We may collect personal information when we do this.
Collection by Accellion
The personal information you provide will be collected by Accellion on our behalf. Personal information (email address and password) will be collected when you log in to Kiteworks to verify secure access.

VCAA Events (attendance in person)
Collection by Trybooking
We may collect your personal information via Trybooking to facilitate your registration to attend training workshops or an event in person. This may include collection of your name, school or other organisation, email address and other contact details.
Trybooking may disclose personal information to third party providers such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Corporation for IT services and data storage handling facilities to the extent necessary to provide its services.
