VCE History expected quality for the mark range and Revolutions sample examination
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators and VCE History teachers and students
The expected quality for the mark range for VCE History external examinations is 
now available. The marking rubric contains the criteria, mark ranges and descriptors that assessors use to mark the Essay in Section B of the Ancient History, Australian History and Revolutions external examinations.
An updated version of the Revolutions Sample examination (Version 2, June 2022) is also available. This new version of the Question and Answer Book correctly shows how students should indicate their selection for the Section B Essay.
