VCE Literature examination: Section B passages
Principals/directors and VCE coordinators and Literature teachers
The passages set in Section B of the VCE Literature examination can contain passages or parts of passages used in previous exam papers. The VCAA does not and has never had a policy that precludes passages used in Section B being repeated over more than one year.
It is important VCE Literature teachers provide opportunities for their students to explore the full text set for study as indicated in the VCAA annual prescribed lists.
Action required
Principals/directors, please ensure that VCE Literature teachers are aware that passages in Section B of the VCE Literature examination can be repeated over more than one year.
