General Achievement Test (GAT) student report available on VASS
Principals/directors, VASS administrators and VCE, VCAL and VET coordinators
As communicated in
Notice to Schools 9/2022, the 2022 GAT will be split into two sections – Sections A and B – to be conducted in separate sessions.
Students enrolled in one or more VCE or scored VCE VET Unit 3–4 sequence are expected to sit both Sections A and B of the GAT.
Senior VCAL students are expected to sit Section A of the GAT.
Schools are now able to see a list of students expected to sit each section of the GAT in VASS using Student Program > VCE reports > GAT students.
VASS reports associated with GAT logistics and student assessment timetables should be run from Monday 18 July once centres and Special Examination Arrangements for the GAT become available.

Action required
Principals/directors, please ensure that VASS administrators and VCE, VCAL and VET coordinators are aware they can now run a report listing students required to sit each section of the GAT, which is available on VASS.
