VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Engineering Studies, Furnishing, Integrated Technologies, Music (Sound Production) and Music (Performance)
Applications open Friday 1 September 2023 for the following opportunities:
- Top Designs: Students of VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Systems Engineering, Visual Communication Design, and VCE VET Creative and Digital Media, Engineering Studies, Furnishing Integrated Technologies and Music (Sound Production)
- Top Screen: Students of VCE Media Film only
- Top Arts: Students of VCE Art Creative Practice, Art Making and Exhibiting
- Top Class Sound: Students of VCE VET Music and all VCE Music studies, except VCE Music Composition where selection takes place through the externally-assessed task
- Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarships: Open to students of all VCE Music studies and VCE VET Music who are studying at government schools and pursuing tertiary music education in 2024.

Principals/directors should ensure VCE coordinators and relevant teachers are aware of the application dates for the VCE Season of Excellence and the Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarships.

- Friday 1 September 2023: Applications open for Top Designs, Top Screen, Top Arts, Top Class Sound, and the Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarships
- 11.59pm Sunday 22 October 2023: Applications close for VCE studies in Top Designs, Top Arts and Top Screen
- 11.59pm Monday 13 November 2023: Applications close for VCE VET programs in Top Designs
- 11.59pm Monday 27 November 2023: Applications close for Top Class Sound and the Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarships
