The 2025 prescribed text lists for
VCE English and EAL and
VCE Literature are now available.
The 2025 VCE English and EAL Text List –
List 2 only will remain unchanged from the 2024 VCE English and English as an Additional Language Text List. Schools may select and teach the same mentor texts in 2025 as they selected and taught in 2024.
Action
Principals/directors, please share this information with the relevant staff and ensure VCE English and VCE EAL teachers are aware they will not need to update the texts they select for Unit 3, Outcome 2 (Creating texts) for 2025.
