Training for the conduct and administration of 2023 VCE external assessments
Principals/directors, VCE and VCAL coordinators and examination centre coordinators
Registrations are open to attend training for the conduct and administration of the 2023 VCE external assessments, including the General Achievement Test (GAT), VCE written examinations and the Extended Investigation Critical Thinking Test.
This training is mandatory for newly appointed chief supervisors and newly appointed school personnel responsible for the conduct and administration of VCE external assessments. New staff must attend this training even if their school has a continuing and experienced chief supervisor. We also encourage current supervisors to attend to support school succession and contingency planning.

Register for one session only. Please read the
collection notice before registering.

- Register using your education or edumail email address, if you have one. Personal email addresses will need to be verified and may not be approved immediately.
- To avoid technical issues, we encourage participants to complete the training at their school location. Please advise where there are multiple supervisor participants at the one location to make sure each supervisor is paid.
- Before the training day, test that your system is
set up for the webinar. You can also
test a video meeting and
view system requirements. Please ask you school for assistance with technical difficulties.
- Do not join the training from a mobile device, as you will not be able to access all the features of the training.
- Please enter the session 15 minutes before the start time.
- The 2023 examination manual will not be available to participants for the training sessions. Where possible, examination centre coordinators should make the 2022 examination manual available to new chief supervisors before the training.
