VCE, VCE Vocational Major (VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC) permissions process and deeming arrangements for 2024 delivery

Notice to Schools 5/2023, applications to deliver the VCE VM or VPC in 2024 close on 30 June (for non-school providers) and 31 July (for schools).
This includes schools and providers seeking to deliver the VCE VM or VPC for the first time, as well as schools and providers with existing permission seeking to offer additional VCE VM or VPC studies in 2024.
Schools and providers with permission to deliver 2 units of a VPC study (Units 1–2 or Units 3–4) and VCE VM Units 1–4 of the same study will be deemed to deliver the remaining 2 units of the VPC study.

Critical dates
- Last day for VCE applications for schools:
- 29 May – second or third year of the permissions process
- 30 June – first year of the permissions process
- Last day for VM and VPC applications:
- 30 June – for non-school providers
- 31 July – for schools
