Support for expanded access to VCE Vocational Major Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills
Principals/Directors, school leaders, and VCE, VCE VM and VPC coordinators
From May 2024, the VCAA will provide a range of supports for schools to prepare for expanding access to VCE VM Work Related Skills and Personal Development Skills including:
- a webinar covering:
- an overview of the integrated VCE and expanded access
- benefits of expanded access
- implementation requirements
- timetabling considerations
- student program examples
- Q&A
- support materials for teachers delivering the curriculum for the first time
- fact sheets for schools, teachers and students.
VCE VM Literacy and Numeracy will continue to be available only to VCE VM students in 2025.
The VCAA is conducting further work to understand the implications of expanding access to these studies – findings of this work will be shared during 2024.
