Preparation for the General Achievement Test (GAT)
Principals/directors and VCE Coordinators, teachers and educators
In preparation for the administration of this year’s GAT, deliveries of GAT papers and stationery have commenced to schools. This year’s GAT supervisor announcements will be delivered to schools with the GAT materials. For information regarding test arrangements, we ask that you refer to the 2024 VCE Examination Manual, available now as a VASS download. Schools will receive a printed copy of the 2024 manual with the October VCE examination stationery delivery.
Information including the GAT Section A and Section B front covers and answer books, 2024 GAT Brochure and past GAT papers are available on our GAT webpage. Printed copies of the brochure have been distributed to schools; please provide these to your students.
Key information from the brochure follows.
