School-based Assessment Audit – Unit 4
Principals/Directors, and VCE coordinators
The School-based Assessment Audit for Unit 4 will commence on Tuesday 23 July.
Its purpose is to help protect the integrity of the VCE and its results. The audit checks that the standards and requirements set out in study designs are being followed, and that assessment is being carried out in line with the
VCE assessment principles.
Studies selected for audit in Unit 4 will be viewable on VASS from Tuesday 23 July. Schools that have been selected for audit will receive an email from the VCAA School-based assessment team on that day containing further information about the audit process.
Please note, this email will be sent to the email address listed for the school on the School Details page on VASS.
Action
Principals/Directors and VCE coordinators should ensure:
- the teachers of the studies being audited are informed of the audit requirements and provided with the necessary support required to complete the audits
- the email address listed for the school on VASS is up-to-date.
Critical dates
Tuesday 23 July – Unit 4 school-based assessment audit commences.
