Applications open for VCE English and EAL, and VCE Literature text advisory panels
Principals/Directors, VCE coordinators, and VCE English, EAL and Literature teachers
Applications are open for membership to the text advisory panels for VCE English and English as an Additional Language (EAL), and VCE Literature for the 2027 text lists.
Being a part of the text advisory panels provides a great opportunity for members to gain insight into the text selection process, learning what makes a text rich and appropriate for study
and professional development in providing input into the future text lists.
Sessional Staff Management System (SSMS) by Friday 11 October.
Panel members provide advice on appropriate texts for prescribed text lists.
You must be familiar with the details of the relevant accredited study designs and, in particular, the role of texts within them.

Critical dates
Friday 11 October – last day to apply for the text advisory panel.
More information
Panels typically consist of between 5-12 members and meet regularly during the year. Members are appointed from schools, universities, training organisations and other sectors, according to their expertise and experience. Meetings will be conducted online for the foreseeable future.
