Frequently asked questions

Back to Critical and Creative Thinking

How should schools deliver the Critical and Creative Thinking curriculum?

The knowledge and skills set out in Critical and Creative Thinking should be taught, learnt, developed and applied in and through each learning area. This requires schools to make decisions about how the content will be explicitly taught and assessed to support a progression of learning. All teachers will need to be familiar with this curriculum continuum, and whole school teaching and learning programs developed to specifically address the content (knowledge and skills) and provide opportunities for application to support development. Decisions made when designing the whole school teaching and learning program will influence how and who will be responsible for reporting student progress in this curriculum area.
