The following VCAA resources help teachers assess student achievement in the classroom.
Further assessment advice
The
VCAA Languages Assessments are a suite of online assessments, developed and hosted by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), to test students’ listening and reading skills in a number of languages, including Chinese.
For additional assessment advice on the Victorian Curriculum F–10 including NAPLAN, online assessments, on-demand testing and formative assessment, see F–10 assessment.
Reporting advice
For general advice on assessment, and curriculum planning and reporting refer to the
VCAA Revised Curriculum Planning and Reporting Guidelines.
Note: This is general advice only and should be read as supplementary to the reporting advice from the school sector.
For schools seeking advice on reporting student progress, please refer to the relevant school sector authority's reporting guidelines. For example, government schools would refer to the Department of Education and Training's reporting advice.
