The
Victorian Aboriginal Languages (VAL) F–10 curriculum provides opportunities for students to study Victorian Aboriginal languages that are being revived by their owners or custodians and are in various stages of reclamation. Before creating resources to implement this curriculum, make sure that you follow the protocols in the Department of Education and Training's (DET) Koorie Cross-Curricular Protocols. These are complemented by the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc.'s (VAEAI) Protocols for Koorie Education in Victorian Primary and Secondary Schools.
