Text nominations are open for the 2025 prescribed text lists for VCE English and English as an Additional Language (EAL) and VCE Literature in the following categories.
VCE English and EAL List 1
- novels
- collections of short stories
- collections of poetry
- plays
- films
- graphic novels
- non-fiction
VCE English and EAL List 2 (mentor texts)
These texts must connect to one of the ideas from the Framework of Ideas (see page 22 of the VCE English and EAL Study Design: Unit 1 and 2 – 2023–2027, Units 3 and 4 – 2024–2027).

Please refer to the
prescribed lists principles and procedures and
submit your nominations by Friday 9 September.
The English Curriculum Manager and relevant text advisory panels will consider all nominations and store them for future consideration.

Professional learning
