2023 NAPLAN reporting and data service professional development workshops and webinars

As in previous years, the VCAA is offering professional development sessions for principals, NAPLAN coordinators and teachers on the interpretation of their 2023 NAPLAN test results during October and November.

The sessions are delivered via a mix of face-to-face workshops at designated venues across Victoria and online webinars. The sessions last about two and a half hours and participants can register for free.

The 2023 workshops/webinars focus on whole-school evaluation and concentrate on analysis of data to inform classroom practice, student progress and school policy and program development.

The program includes a brief overview of the changes to reporting introduced in 2023 and reviews the most relevant reports in the VCAA Data Service and some of the reports contained in the Student and School Summary Report (SSSR).

The sessions also provide participants with the opportunity to ask questions they may have relating to the interpretation of their school's data.

Further details of these workshops and webinars, including a list of dates, times and venues, can be found at NAPLAN reporting.
