VCE VET Scored Assessment workshop: Implementing the new task type rules for 2020
Principals/Directors and VET coordinators, teachers, trainers and assessors
In March 2020, a series of program/industry specific professional development workshops for assessors of scored VCE VET programs will be held at the Moonee Valley Racecourse, 1 McPherson Street, Moonee Ponds.
The VCE VET Scored Assessment workshops will consist of activities relating to the design and development of scored assessment tasks in each scored VCE VET program and provide support for schools, registered training organisations (RTOs)and other organisations in implementing the new task type rules, which come into effect from January 2020.
Both new and experienced teachers will benefit from this professional learning, including teachers who are supplied Scored Assessment Task material from their RTO.
Participants will be assigned to groups based on program areas.

Action required
Principals/Directors should ensure VET coordinators, teachers, trainers and assessors, and RTOs that provide scored VCE VET programs are aware of the workshopsare aware of the workshops.
