VCE Psychology (2023–2027) webinar ‘Conversations about memory with Dr Lynne Kelly AM’
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators and VCE Psychology teachers
You are invited to attend the webinar ‘Conversations about memory with Dr Lynne Kelly AM’.
The webinar will support Unit 3 and 4 Psychology teachers to:
- deepen their knowledge of memory as a process by which knowledge is encoded, stored and retrieved
- broaden their understanding of the use of mnemonics to improve memory
- explore Indigenous memory systems, including Aboriginal peoples’ use of place as a repository of memory
The webinar will be recorded and available on the VCE Psychology study page.

Lynne is a writer, researcher and science educator with a specific interest in memory methods used by oral cultures around the world. Her book, Songlines: The power and promise, co-authored with Margo Neale, was shortlisted for the 2021 Victorian Premier’s Prize for Nonfiction. In 2022, she was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for ‘significant achievement in science education through writing and research’.
