Publication of 2021 external assessment reports
Principals/directors, VCE coordinators, and VCE and VCE VET teachers
At the completion of the VCE assessment period, chief assessors prepare a report for each external assessment to provide, where appropriate:
- analysis of how students performed during the assessment, including statistics
- possible answers
- suggestions for how students could approach aspects of the assessment
Teachers and students of VCE and VCE VET studies who are interested in or need past exam answers, and advice on student performance in past exams, use the reports to inform their teaching or study in the following years.
In 2022, external assessment reports (previously ‘examination reports’) for the 2021 assessment period, will be published on the Examination specifications, past examinations and examination reports page throughout Term 1.

Principals/directors, please advise VCE and VCE VET teachers about the publication of external assessment reports.
