Examination development panels for written examinations
Applications are open for positions on all 2020 VCE and VCE VET examination development panels. Teachers and academics who are interested in examination development, and have appropriate experience and qualifications, are invited to apply. Information about the different positions on examination development panels and the conditions of appointment can be found on the

Sessional Staff Management System (SSMS) website.
Applicants for the following panels should be aware that they may also be required to work on examinations for the 2021 VCE on a Northern Hemisphere Timetable (NHT): Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Chinese First Language, Applied Computing: Data Analytics, English and English as an Additional Language, Further Mathematics examination 1 and examination 2, Mathematical Methods examination 1 and examination 2, Physics, and Specialist Mathematics examination 1 and examination 2.

VCE on a Northern Hemisphere Timetable 2019 examinations
VCE examinations on a NHT were conducted in May and June 2019 for a selected number of studies. Copies of the NHT examinations are now available on the
Examination Specifications, Past Examinations and Examination Reports webpage. Examination reports for these examinations will be published during Term 3, as they become available.
Examination advice slips for VCE performance studies and VCE Languages oral examinations and VCE Extended Investigation oral presentation
Examination advice slips for students enrolled in Units 3–4 for VCE Performance and Languages studies and Extended Investigation will be available on VASS from Monday 5 August 2019.

2019 VCE written examinations: Assessor training meetings
Training will be provided to assessors appointed to the role of assessing 2019 VCE written examinations. The VCAA will confirm assessor and emergency assessor appointments via email.

Information for schools
School-based staff appointed by the VCAA to assess VCE written examinations and who will be undertaking VCAA activities during school hours are required to ensure that their release has been approved and confirmed with their school. The VCAA may need to contact schools for administrative or audit purposes.
The VCAA provides principals with information about the appointment of staff from their schools, the dates of assessor training meetings and the availability of Casual Relief Teacher (CRT) payments to secure the release of staff.

Last day for VET Assessment Plans
The final date to enter VET Assessment Plan data for scored VCE VET programs is Friday 16 August 2019.
The final date to enter enrolment data for VCE Units 1 and 2, units of competency (UoC) in unscored VET certificate programs, and VCAL units is Monday 11 November 2019.
